This person provides strategic planning, leadership and management of the production, stockroom, maintenance and purchasing departments. He/she is also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of plant activities, duties, and projects within budget.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, implement and manage budgets
- Manage costs, including utilizing PBA information to control garment cost per customer
- Develop and manage quality systems; strive to continually improve productivity and quality with our customer focused cellular processing through lean techniques and TQM
- Drive waste from the system – making our service as environmentally friendly as possible (reduce, reuse, recycle)
- Document processes and create training systems
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance system
- Meet with direct reports regularly keeping them informed and requesting input.
- Work with the entire Huebsch team to resolve customer issues; actively listen to the route people and act as a liaison between the routes and production
- Manage inventory levels of new and in-service product including receiving, stocking, dispersing, and security
- Manage facility maintenance, housekeeping, and security
- Assure safety training, OSHA compliance and worker compensation cost control
- Supervise staff, including performance management, employee development, and discipline
- Serve on the corporate strategic management team
- Manage projects to assure completion on time and within budget
- Active in the local community
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Prior experience as a plant manager in a similar environment. Experience in a fast paced, service oriented business and some exposure to a union environment helpful.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong ability to provide analysis recommendations and implementation of programs/systems; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse work group. Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in finance, accounting and management information systems. Proven leadership skills and ability to provide results through delegation; able to manage multiple projects and functions simultaneously.

All White Ave. production supervisors and production, maintenance, stockroom co-workers
Working Conditions:
Stand and/or walk for periods of time. Occasional travel to Eagan, MN facility and industry functions.
